Progress Notes July 10, 2006:

Untitled space adventure, nicknamed 3 Musketeers/Sea Hawk

Projected size: Novel.
New Words: 750
Total Words: 750
Pages: 6, with scenery and outline.
Deadline: School starting in late August.
Reason for stopping: done with the scene and the outline.
Stimulants: none
Exercise: Pilates/Yoga tape, and I'm about to walk to the library and return videotapes.
Mean Things: Crash-landed escape pods/shuttles in ocean.
Darling du jour: Soon, there were more people in the water then there was water, hauling with the strength of years spent pulling in nets.
Books in progress: I should get back to that collection of Hugo Black's letters. Just finished re-reading Pride and Prejudice.
The glamour: Impromptu dinner at the Pakistani kids' house yesterday. Delicious! The tea! And then I couldn't go to sleep until 3. Probably, the tea!

The Divided Country is up next, I want to go through the rest of it tonight if I can. Then back to Mitch and his last few scenes, and then on to this new effort.

3 of us are reading it at once, matociquala is reading it, too. I've been on a Jane Austen kick -- Mansfield Park, Sense and Sensibility, and P&P. I don't think I'll reread Persuasion, though.
