Some good, some bad
Feb. 22nd, 2011 11:07 amBeen having lots of difficulty sleeping. I'm tired today even though I had a full nights sleep.
However, in the course of looking over a friends (very short) paper for his history class and pointing out grammatical mistakes, I also fired up Scrivener and created a new project for a new novel. I've had the idea for a long time, and since I've barely been doing any writing at all for many months, I thought I'd come back to a pre-existing idea to start flexing my muscles again.
I have to figure out what the dastardly plot is that my antagonist foils (it may involve an explosion of Absurdium), but I've now mapped out all the pieces up to what my brain labels as "the Zorro plot".
The rest of the outline will be cribbed from the plot for, duh, Zorro.
Also, watched a lovely little film: The Station Agent. Peter Dinklage, Patricia Clarkson, Bobby Cannavale. More than a slice-of-life film. Perhaps a slice-of-personal-rennaissance film.
