Book Review: Robin McKinley's /Beauty/
Dec. 6th, 2007 05:27 pmI'm beginning to dig into a giant stack of books I acquired at the end of the summer. Have already read Josephine Tey's Daughter of Time.
Now, it's odd that I'd never read McKinley's Beauty before, b/c I usually love reworked fairy tales, and love reworking them myself. I liked the tone, I liked the first-person POV, I liked the story, I liked that Beauty was stubborn. Got all weepy at the right points, too.
