Today's progress report
Aug. 10th, 2007 08:38 pmMy god, a writing progress report! I have one for Wednesday and yesterday, too: wrote the last few scenes to Mitch Chevrolet: Supernatural P.I., and the first couple pages for the sequel to Mitch.
August 10, 2007:
Mitch Chevrolet/The Curse of the Werewolf
New Words: 750, and a plot point or two
Total Words: 1500, plus most of an outline
Pages: 6
Reason for stopping: Quota, but if I figure this plot point out, I may come back and write more tonight.
Stimulants: Teachino. Teechino? Which, alas, has no caffeine.
Exercise: Walked down to the C Line, and carried around pounds of cheaply-priced pasta as I went to the farmer's market, was a good Samaritan to someone new to the city, and then came home.
Words I'm surprised Word knows: n/a
Words I'm surprised Word doesn't know: n/a
Mean Things: I think Mitch is about to have a meeting with his ex-partner.
Typo du jour: n/a
Darling du jour:
Books in progress: The Four Feathers, Martin Gilbert's The Second World War.
Books finished: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows!
The glamour: Celebratory dinner for having taken the bar exam, last night, w/my neighbor PB. Sort of a mixed-Korean restaurant. I had a lobster & crab cake and an interesting cocktail for starters, and bulgoki. We drank a goodly amount of sake but didn't get falling-down drunk. Couldn't manage dessert, we were just too full.

Mitch allowed as he was pretty discreet, and further allowed that he’d get up and walk down four flights of stairs in molten heat in order to call at the museum.
And since he’d allowed it on the telephone, he supposed he’d better go make it true.
