I knit! In the past tense.
I knit a watchcap from Elizabeth Zimmerman's "Knitting Without Tears" book, using the Prime Rib or Brioche Stitch, with two strands of some light blue stash yarn and a strand of fun fur in shades of blue. Naturally, I made it too big, following the pattern and forgetting I actually have a small head. (Yes, friends and neighbors, hard to believe, I know.) Might still work out. So, we'll see.
Maybe I'll pick up another project, now that I've wet my whistle/whet my appetite with this one.
