why can't I do both?
Jan. 12th, 2007 05:59 pmI've just turned down a tres cool, educational, useful clinical placement with the law firm Kopelman & Paige in order to accept a tres cool, educational, useful clinical placement with the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office, Environmental Protection Division.
Sigh. I wish I could do both. The former was more municipal law, which is an area I definitely see myself going into, I really like all the town planning, and land use, and wetlands protection, and all that stuff that gets done at the level of a town or city. The latter is much more pure environmental law, they're the civil enforcement arm for the state. I figured, of the two being equally attractive, in the end I should choose the one I may never get to do again. (So much environmental law gets done in conjunction with other stuff.)
*snif* I'd regret, either way.
