Vernal Equinox - March 20, 2010 1:32PM Eastern Daylight Time. (courtesy http://www.erh.noaa.gov/box/equinox.html)
The Spring Equinox is the end of Winter and the beginning of the season of rebirth. Honor Frigga, Freya and Nerthus with blot and feast. (http://www.asatru.org/Holidays.html)
Frigga:
I find Frigga's aspect as the giver of sovereignty and order particularly compelling. Here's a nice article about Frigga's power in ordering the business of the homestead and managing relationships, suggesting Frigga as a good patron for managers, entrepreneurs, and parents: It's All in a Day's Work: Frige's Power of Creating and Maintaining, by Winifred Hodge.
After hunkering down for the winter, this season of rebirth is an opportunity to renew relationships throughout one's life.
Freya:
Daughter of Njord and possibly Nerthus, the dis of the Vanir is a powerful goddess of many attributes, including love, sex, and death - and presumably rock-n-roll as a result. Some say she and Frigga are different aspects of one another.
The Lost Beliefs of Northern Europe describes her thusly: "...while the divine Freyja is something between a lusty giantess and a fair maiden whose white arms light up the darkness of the underworld. They are not sentimentalized and do not become amiable figures, although they may be gift-bearers and bring great benefits to mankind.."
Given the scope of her power, I personally consider it a good idea to be specific when making blot to Freya, as to what you desire fertility in.
Nerthus:
An even older mother goddess, Tacitus identified her with Terra Mater, Mother Earth, herself. Every weapon is put away during her progress through towns and ritual bathing. I think of her as a woman old enough to know herself and the world, and be surprised by precious little, with crow's feet at her eyes.

Frige is the frithweaver, bringing about not only peace, but "right relationships" that can maintain themselves peacefully over time, without constant struggle and grief.
