Getting Somewhat Back in Groove
Nov. 17th, 2007 11:21 pmIt wasn't until today when I realized that I've been working too hard, because I haven't had the energy to read a new book. It's just been all comfort-food reading (Rex Stout, Lois Bujold), things I've read 20 times already. I just didn't have the brainpower to handle anything new.
So, Thursday we had our big seminar and I worked a really long day and was headache-y all Friday as a result, and today I was still tired when I woke up, BUT:
Outlined what goes in the last chunk of Mitch Chevrolet, FINALLY, even though the outline sucks, now I have something, which means I can *DO* something WITH it;
Picked up a totally new-to-me book that I've had on the shelf for months, to wit,
scott_lynch's The Lies of Locke Lamora, which is extremely fun so far;
And started a new knitting project (Baby Surprise Jacket) for an impending mom I know at work.
Gee, maybe tomorrow I'll do *laundry*.
