New Words: 750
Total Words: 7500
Pages: 30
Reason for stopping: Quota
Stimulants: a deliciously crisp apple
Exercise: None yet
Mean Things: Mitch is being vaguely creeped out by a little old lady who knows something.
Typo du jour: n/a
Darling du jour:
Books in progress: really I've just been reading blogs all the time, and drinking, and listening to They Might Be Giants.
The glamour: I walked to the YMCA, which was quite a bit farther than I thought it was, donated blood, and walked back. Felt pretty darn good. Sometimes donating is really draining, and other times, obviously not. Wacky. My blood doesn't seem to do well with the drop-in-blue-liquid-and-watch iron test, anymore, though.
I intend to write today's quota, too. I'm putting some references in to the first book, and I'm realizing I have to figure out how to convey the supernatural aspect of Mitch's practice without just telling the first novel over again. It's a balance I hadn't really thought much about.

This time he saw teeth and Mitch got a pat on the arm for his trouble. “Well done, boy. You keep hiding that light under the bushel basket.”
