Richard III
Jan. 5th, 2007 08:17 pmYou know who would make a fantastic Richard in Richard III?
Anjelica Huston.
She'd be awesome.
I just watched the oldest remaining American feature film, a production (silent, with no dialogue cards at all, just scene descriptors) of Richard III, starring Frederic Warde, from 1912. Really an interesting experience. Nice documentary to go along with it in the special features.
jcortese, I think you'd find this worth watching, for the camera work, and the implicit assumptions about the audience's knowledge.
Restored by the American Film Institute (AFI), which my mother used to work for, a factoid in which I have much pride.
