Progress notes Aug 17

I am a cup -- poetry
Deadline: It's a poem. It comes when it will and couches in my head, weighty, dripping with heat and intent, until finished.
Reason for stopping: Finished. (I am allowed to tweak, but I usually don't begin writing poetry until I "have it" mostly whole in my head.)
Stimulants: none
Exercise: exercise video
Books in progress: Winston Churchill's History of the English-Speaking Peoples, vol. I.
Books finished: C.S. Lewis, The Abolition of Man.
The glamour: Have been catsitting for friends -- and enjoying their TV. Am applying for clerkships and jobs for next year. And, writing about wind energy in the West.
That all sounded droll, not glamorous at all. Hm.
BTW, I'd like to thank matociquala for assisting unknowingly in the poetry-birthing process. Though mon cher papa's demise had quite a bit to do with it as well.
