working title, The Red Sea
New Words: 1000
Total Words: 1000
Pages: 4
Deadline: Shortly.
Reason for stopping: Oh my god, I'm tired.
Stimulants: I'm going to go make decaf, and I might actually add some instant regular coffee into it.
Exercise: None yet, but the day is young.
Words I'm surprised Word knows:
Words I'm surprised Word doesn't know:
Mean Things: Lana fell in.
Typo du jour: The red edge of liquid made noises to itself, as if they weren't there, and it could go on creating and uncreating itself in the sharp pulses of light that flashed across the sore.
Darling du jour:
Books in progress: Winston Churchill's History of the English-Speaking Peoples, vol. I. I'm past the Danelaw. And, C.S. Lewis, The Abolition of Man.
Books finished: A re-read of Bujold's Curse of Chalion, again. It was too hot for me to read something new, most of this week.
The glamour: No glamour. Not a teeny bit. Well, I did amuse myself with an attempt to taunt white supremacists over at my "real blog", Parenthetically Speaking, but Blogger doesen't want to update. Oh, and I signed up for LibraryThing, but I kept running into a problem whilst trying to enter data by hand for certain volumes of the Vailima Edition of Robert Louis Stevenson's Collected Works (1912). Whackey. No, I didn't spell that wrong. The situation made me want to whack LibraryThing. Understandably so, I think.

Her face didn't look right anymore, one side pulled down, as if the muscles underneath had been startled and then stayed that way.
