I'm not sure what to title it.

"Errol Flynn v. The Shark"?

"Two Pirates, One Producer, and the Guy from the Network"?

"On the Set of Captain Blood, the Series".

Ah, that might work. Or maybe, "On Location with the Stars of Captain Blood, the Series".

Way to go, Sid! I wrote about 4000 words today, between a page of cleanup on the Elvis story, and now Errol Flynn at 3750 words.

(Actually, Basil Rathbone gets more air time in the story than Errol does.)

I won't say this makes up for spending most of a week sick and not able to string words together, but it's nice.

Guess I'll do it big-kid style

Books in progress: John K. Nelson, A Year in the Life of a Shinto Shrine -- skimming only. Think I'm done with it.
Books just finished but hadn't told anyone: Naomi's Temeraire books, and Tim Powers' Expiration Date and Earthquake Weather, of which, too much awe cannot be communicated. I am in deep, deep awe.

Interesting tidbits: A nembutsu recite-along online. Wacky. Cool, but wacky.

The glamour!: Rescued my neighbors who locked themselves out of their apartment. I am such a nice person I can't stand myself. Found out how to get out on my roof! And there was much rejoicing.
