From [livejournal.com profile] plaidder's game:

Below is a partial list of the adult performers in the HP series. Next to each, I have put the title of a favorite movie of mine in which that performer has appeared. Here's how the game works:

1) Copy the list and post it in your LJ with these instructions.
2) For each name: If you think the film next to that name is the best film that performer has ever done, leave it alone. If you can think of a film that performer has done which you like better, add its title, bolding your new addition and italicizing the earlier ones.
3) If you have a favorite performer from the HP films who's not on the list, add his/her name, character, and favorite previous movie/role.

Here's the partial list:

Kenneth Branagh (Gilderoy Lockhart) Dead Again
John Cleese (Nearly Headless Nick) Monty Python And The Holy Grail, Fawlty Towers
Ralph Fiennes (He Who Must Not Be Named) Schindler's List
Michael Gambon (Albus Dumbledore II) Endgame
Brendan Gleeson (Mad Eye Moody) The Butcher Boy
Robert Hardy (Cornelius Fudge) Mary Shelley's Frankenstein
Miriam Margoyles (Professor Sprout) The Age of Innocence
Alan Rickman (Severus Snape) Sense and Sensibility
Miranda Richardson (Rita Skeeter) Enchanted April
Fiona Shaw (Petunia Dursley) The Butcher Boy
Maggie Smith (Minerva MacGonagall) A Private Function
Emma Thompson (Professor Trelawney) Much Ado About Nothing, Sense and Sensibility
and I'm adding
Richard Griffiths (Vernon Dursley) Withnail and I
