I have problems kneading dough now, after hurting my hand, but
a. I expect it'll get better, over time;
b. even if it doesn't, bread is sort of my signature thing. I gotta make bread. There's something enormously satisfying about it.
I've been dallying with baking powder biscuits and quickbreads (cf. The Joy of Cooking), because they're good for hungry law student lunches, but a fresh, simple, hand baked loaf is where it's at.
