Productive Start To Labor Day, How Apropos

To get up and labor, I mean. The building in my apartment has about 12 basement storage units for the 5 floors worth of residents who live here -- first come, first serve, I was told when I viewed the apartment last June/July, and there weren't any available then. Well, trotting down this morning with my laundry, I saw one open from whoever moved out this weekend, and snagged it, slapped a lock on it, and spent the past hour carting my stash of moving boxes down three flights of stairs to stuff in it. I'm very pleased. I'll move some other stuff down over time, I'm sure.

See, procrastination combined with "oh, hell, just get up and do it", i.e., waiting all weekend long and then doing laundry as soon as I woke up today, as a strategy does have some benefits.
